About "Nickadee"

My kids have called me “NickaDee” ever since they were little. Naturally, it was the first name that came to mind when deciding what to call our hot sauce. We are small town Northern California people who love to make good homemade food for our friends and neighbors. Over the years our family, friends, and neighbors have all played a part in developing the Original recipe through their input and support.  It truly is a small town creation made with passion and belief in each other.

When I set out to create a hot sauce I did so because I was tired of using the same old name brands we've all been using forever. I wanted to create something with simple, fresh ingredients that would produce a vibrant and addicting flavor and with just enough heat to allow it to be applied generously. After a year of experimenting with a variety of peppers and cooking methods, I am proud to introduce NickaDee's.  Our sauce recipes are made with fire-roasted peppers, fermented chilies, smoked vegetables, fresh fruit and a blend of spices.
